The variety is Little Finger and they are so tasty I'm surprised any made it to the kitchen.

Blackberry Jam Time!

Blackberries are in!! Tarver is canning jam as fast as i can pick them!! Blackberries are also being served with breakfast on the Buttermilk Pancakes with berry syrup, sunflower brittle, basil, creme fraiche, and bacon. Yummy.

Private event on the terrace

It makes me so happy to see the terrace set up for an event.  Every table is set just perfect, and over looking the gardens and the beautiful mountains.  What a great day!

Morning Fog

Peas from garden to breakfast table

 Started with the variety Easy Peasy Pea.

The end result was an omelet with fresh peas, speck alto adiege and ramp vinaigrette!!  How exciting!!

Pulled this one just to check on how they were doing.  It tasted great!  The rest will be harvested this week or early next week!! So exciting!

veggie garden coming together

Radishes will be ready in two weeks!  Strawberries are all together now producing a couple of fruits a day,  not much but its a start.  I planted my second round of peas,  also have Broccoli Raab and Eggplants in.  Everything is taking off,  they must really like the new compost!!

New soil for the Veggie beds

I am currently bringing in compost and redoing the veggie beds.  I'm so excited to have dark rich lovely soil!!  Last week Peas, Carrots, Radishes and onion seeds went in.  So nice to see little babies in the garden!!

Peek a boo! One of my little frog friends saying hi. I'm so happy they survived the winter in our pond on the terrace.

Mowing time! We have already fired up the mower and mowed twice. I love the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning and it makes the property look even more amazing.

Flowers mean fruit! I am very excited to see our cherry and plum trees have a large amount of flowers this year. From every blossom comes fruit, and this will make Tarver very happy in a couple months. Although the though of spending hours on a ladder picking fruit already makes my fingers hurt.
