Mowing time! We have already fired up the mower and mowed twice. I love the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning and it makes the property look even more amazing.

Flowers mean fruit! I am very excited to see our cherry and plum trees have a large amount of flowers this year. From every blossom comes fruit, and this will make Tarver very happy in a couple months. Although the though of spending hours on a ladder picking fruit already makes my fingers hurt.

Our terrace has been voted one of the best outdoor dining in Northern Virginia!! What a view of the Blue Ridge!! It is all set up and ready for you to enjoy too!!

The Ashby Gardener
I have been in the plant field for 14 years. Started off selling plants at local nurseries. Then began landscaping, then started my own gardening business for 4 years. Now I'm maintaining the property here at The Ashby Inn and expanding my knowledge on vegetable production. Also in charge of the handy man work for the property
